Your Faith Should Drive Excellence

This is more of a recommendation than an article.

There is a website called Faith Driven Entrepreneur that offers a course and community that focus on Faith and Entrepreneurship. You can find it here: Faith Driven Entrepreneur They describe the course as follows “The Foundation Course exists for one reason: to help entrepreneurs build what God actually called them to build.” I think that is a great single sentence to summarize our mission and what it should be.

Although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend everything some of the entrepreneurs were doing, it was worth my time going through it. I had already wrapped up the 3 startups I did by the time I went through this course, but I do wish I had given thought to these concepts beforehand and certainly will now going forward.

To me, by far the most interesting and mentality altering video out of the 8 is the “Excellence Matters” which is the 4th in the course. The top to bottom commitment at the Don Flow dealerships to serving customers like serving your neighbor was made especially convicting given that they are doing it in the auto sales industry, which is not known to be the most honest and customer focused.
