Circuits To Startups is intended to be a resource for engineers and entrepreneurs. My hope is that it will be a place where knowledge can be passed on and technology and careers can be discussed. Engineering is a broad field, and no two jobs are exactly alike. Whether you are a new college grad or a seasoned pro we can still learn from each other's experiences and hopefully have some laughs along the way.
It is mostly intended for the grinders, the dreamers, the outside the box thinkers who invent and produce the tangible-sometimes un-noticed things-that really do change technology even if it doesn't grab headlines.
Welcome to our project...let's just enjoy the ride and see where this goes.
From our founder:
After spending over 20 years co-founding 3 startups and after a career of never being without work, it finally hit me just how blessed I have been. I can look back and see God’s hand in everything He has done in my life and I realized that all too often I was giving myself the glory and not Him. My time, talent, and treasure are all His and far too often I have not lived that out and have been lukewarm in my faith. As I pondered doing yet another startup armed with all the ideas and unfinished technology/research that one accumulates in over 30 years of R&D, it occurred to me that I needed to rethink my path.
So, I have decided to start by creating a place where I can pass on knowledge and encourage and serve others using a lifetime of experience. It is about incorporating my faith into every aspect of my life. God created all of these things that we can discover, design, and invent and gave each of us abilities that can be used to uncover these things and give Him the glory.
